One of the first projects as a contractor with Corporate One was to migrate their SharePoint 2010 environment to 2013 and then to training the company on how to use it. For anyone that has touched SharePoint before you speak about how, you need to have your users "buy-in" to the product through explaining to them why it will make their job simpler and better. Once they are their you then have there attention and can be more effective with your HOW presentation.
In month 3 of my contract I traveled to the main headquarters of Corporate One in Columbus,OH to train close to 200 users. The week long training consisted of the following contents:
